Mazda MX-5 Super25 Concept

Following on from the previous years Super20, Mazda USA went 5 better in 2012 and brought the Super25 to SEMA.  Aside from the striking red and black colour scheme, the front light pod really grans your attention.  This is an MX-5 designed for endurance racing, and therefore features a fully stripped out interior allowing the use of a full roll cage and integrated fire extinguisher system.

The interior also benefits from a single Sparco Evo race seat (just like the Aori) matched to a Sparco race harness and steering wheel.  The red, grey and black exterior colour scheme is continued on the interior which is trimmed in grey suede with red contrast.  Super25 also features a digital data logger custom fitted into the centre console where the stereo would normally be - so you can download and analyse your laptimes and telemetry.

The huge Brembo brake conversion, Mazdaspeed exhaust, BF Goodrich semi-slick tyres, forged 17" Volk Racing TE37 wheels, and a little nod to the no.55 Le Mans winner finish off the concept nicely.  As with the many other concepts, it's great to see what can be achieved with the Roadster.
