Mazda MX-5 Black & Matte Concept

To celebrate 20 years of the MX-5 in France, Mazda produced a one-off concept for the 2010 Paris Cabriolet, Coupe & SUV motor show. The concept was named "Black & Matte" and as you can see, it featured a unique matte black vinyl wrap exterior finish complemented by tinted windows and black alloy wheels.

The concept car was designed by stylist Laure Kczekotwska, owner of the LK Paris fashion house and famous for her haute couture clothing designs. The car had its own launch party in Paris that doubled as a fashion show. The Black & Matte was all about trendy contemporary glamour. As for the car, it's a standard 2.0 coupe model with the Activematic paddleshift transmission.
